EPUB libraries for Java

• epub4j reads and writes EPUB files with a simple object model (Book, Metadata, Resource, Spine, TableOfContents). It’s a maintained fork of epublib, with the same API under the io.documentnode.epub4j package, and runs on Android. It writes EPUB 2 package files.

epublib itself is still widely used in older projects but hasn’t had a release in years; new code should use epub4j.
