PDB libraries for C/C++
- pilot-link (libpisock) is the Palm OS sync library for Linux and Unix. Its
pi-fileAPI opens, reads and creates PDB and PRC files on disk: header info, AppInfo block and records. It doesn’t decompress PalmDOC text, but the decompressor is about 30 lines of C (shown on the library page). The project is no longer developed and isn’t in Linux distributions anymore; build it from source.
For a command line converter between text and PalmDOC, use txt2pdbdoc (C++, GPL-2.0).
- pilot-link libpisock from pilot-link reads and writes Palm Database (PDB) files in C. How to build it, list records, extract text from a PalmDOC eBook.
