TAR libraries for Rust

The tar crate is the standard TAR library for Rust: cargo uses it for .crate files, and most Rust tools that handle tarballs depend on it. It reads and writes through any Read / Write, so compression comes from wrapping it in a decoder or encoder from flate2 (gzip), xz2 (xz) or zstd.
