JPEG libraries for Rust

• image is the standard high-level crate: decode JPEG (with zune-jpeg), resize, apply the Exif orientation, encode baseline JPEG with a quality setting, and convert to and from PNG, GIF, WebP and other formats. Pure Rust.
• zune-jpeg is a fast, pure-Rust JPEG decoder with SIMD, close to libjpeg-turbo in speed. Use it directly when you only need to decode JPEG to pixels and want the smallest dependency, raw Exif/ICC bytes, or a specific output color space.

For Exif tags use kamadak-exif (exif in code, BSD-2-Clause), which parses Exif from JPEG, TIFF, HEIF, PNG and WebP. For libjpeg-turbo itself (progressive encoding, lossless transforms) the turbojpeg crate wraps the TurboJPEG API. The older jpeg-decoder crate is deprecated in favor of zune-jpeg.
