RAR libraries for C#

For .NET, SharpCompress is the library to use. It’s pure managed code under the MIT license, runs on .NET Framework 4.8 and every current .NET, and reads RAR4 and RAR5 archives, including encrypted, solid and multi-volume ones. It can read from non-seekable streams, so you can extract a RAR while downloading it. Like every open-source RAR library, it can’t create RAR files.

System.IO.Compression in the .NET runtime handles only ZIP and GZip, not RAR.
