RAR libraries for Go
For Go, rardecode (github.com/nwaples/rardecode/v2) is the standard choice. It’s pure Go under the BSD-2-Clause license, so it cross-compiles without cgo. It reads RAR4 and RAR5 archives, including passwords, encrypted headers, solid archives and volumes, through a Reader that works like archive/tar and an fs.FS view for random access. Higher-level packages such as github.com/mholt/archives use it for their RAR support.
The standard library has no RAR package.
