TIFF libraries for Go
- x/image/tiff (
golang.org/x/image/tiff) is maintained by the Go team. It decodes the first image of a TIFF file and encodes uncompressed or Deflate TIFF. Pure Go. It doesn’t read multi-page files past the first page, BigTIFF or JPEG-compressed TIFF. - imaging adds resize, crop, rotate and format conversion on top of the standard image packages, including x/image/tiff.
For GeoTIFF or TIFF features x/image/tiff lacks, use a GDAL binding such as godal (needs the GDAL C library).
- imaging imaging is a Go library for simple image processing that reads and writes TIFF. How to install it, open a TIFF, resize, convert TIFF to JPEG or PNG.
- x/image/tiff golang.org/x/image/tiff is the Go project's pure Go TIFF decoder and encoder. How to install it, decode a TIFF, get its size.
