RTF libraries for Ruby

• ruby-rtf parses RTF into a document with a font table, a color table and a list of formatted sections (text plus bold, italic, font, size, colors), with basic table support. It’s enough to extract text or convert simple documents to HTML. It doesn’t write RTF and hasn’t had a release since 2020.

For writing RTF, the old rtf gem (2013) still works for simple documents, but it’s unmaintained; generating RTF text directly or converting HTML with Pandoc are common alternatives.
